Introducing the PlasticBurners Miller Series: M18 & DeWalt Battery Adapters for PAPR II / Vortex HDV

Introducing the PlasticBurners Miller Series: Milwaukee M18 and DeWalt Battery Adapters

The PlasticBurners Miller Series is here—bringing purpose-built tool-battery power to compatible Miller® PAPR II / Vortex HDV systems.

The range launches with two Premium Series options: Milwaukee® M18 and DeWalt® 18V / 20V MAX / FLEXVOLT® battery adapters. More battery-platform models will join the Miller Series in the future.

Built with moulded battery connections, brass threaded inserts and replaceable components, these adapters bring the PlasticBurners approach to Miller users: practical engineering, serviceable construction and ongoing support.

Use the Tool Batteries You Already Own

If you already use Milwaukee M18 or DeWalt tools, your batteries and chargers are part of your daily routine.

A compatible PlasticBurners Miller adapter lets you use that same battery platform to power your Miller PAPR II / Vortex HDV blower. Keep spare tool batteries ready, use your existing tool-battery charger and simplify the equipment you take to work.

Choose the adapter that matches your battery platform and confirm compatibility with your exact blower model before ordering.

Milwaukee M18 → Miller PAPR II / Vortex HDV

The Premium Milwaukee M18 Miller adapter connects compatible M18 batteries to supported Miller PAPR II / Vortex HDV systems.

It combines a purpose-built battery interface with regulated power delivery and low-voltage cutoff circuitry to help protect the connected battery from excessive discharge.

For welders already invested in Milwaukee M18, it brings their blower into the battery platform they use across the rest of their equipment.

DeWalt → Miller PAPR II / Vortex HDV

The Premium DeWalt Miller adapter supports compatible DeWalt 18V, 20V MAX and FLEXVOLT batteries.

It uses the same low-voltage cutoff circuit as our Milwaukee M18 Miller adapter, providing battery protection as part of the adapter’s electrical design.

For DeWalt users, it offers the same focus on dependable connections, serviceability and practical tool-battery power.

Purpose-Built Connections and Serviceable Construction

The Miller Series carries the construction details that set PlasticBurners apart.

Moulded battery connections support and position the battery contacts for the intended interface. A dependable connection starts with components suited to the job.

Brass threaded inserts give the housing screws a metal thread to engage with. This allows the adapter to be opened and reassembled for servicing without repeatedly driving screws into plastic.

Replaceable internal components support repair and factory repowering. Where the housing remains serviceable, a failed component does not automatically mean replacing the entire adapter.

Conformally coated electronics boards provide an additional barrier against moisture and contamination.

These choices matter throughout the adapter’s working life—from everyday battery changes to servicing later on.

Developed for Working Use

PlasticBurners’ development process includes six months of mine-site field testing before an adapter design is released.

That gives us time to assess repeated use, handling and battery changes in working conditions, alongside our bench testing.

Our Miller adapters are designed specifically for the supported Miller interface. They do not require the sprung blower connector used on our Adflo adapters, and they do not include an Adflo-style task light port.

Each range is built around the equipment it serves.

More Miller Models Are Coming

Milwaukee M18 and DeWalt are the first battery platforms in the PlasticBurners Miller Series. More models are planned for future release.

We will announce additional options as development and testing are completed. Each new model will receive the same attention to battery fit, electrical design and serviceable construction.

If your preferred battery platform is not available yet, contact PlasticBurners and let us know what you use. Your feedback helps us understand which options customers want next.

Backed by PlasticBurners

The Miller Series comes with a six-month warranty, with post-warranty repairs available.

Our adapters are built with factory repowering in mind, and customers can contact PlasticBurners directly for assessment and support.
